يوفّر مكتب مكافحة السرطان عن طريق الأبحاث التي يقوم بها أدلّة علمية ليُستفاد منها محليّا وإقليميّا في مجالات مكافحة السرطان ومكافحة التبغ. وتشمل هذه الأبحاث قضايا تهمّ مرضى السرطان ومختلف فئات المجتمع.
