About the Symposium and Target Audience:

The Mini Head and Neck (Mini-H&N) Symposium will bring together experts, specialists and trainees specialized in head and neck surgery, including surgeons, otorhinolaryngologists, maxillo-facial surgeons, reconstructive surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, fellows, residents and other medical specialists involved in the treatment of patients with H&N cancer.

Day: Thursday, 29 September 2022

Venue: King Hussein Cancer Center, Sheikh Khalifa Tower, Shoman Theater, Third Floor, Classroom 4.

Goal:

The symposium will combine multidisciplinary lectures focused on laryngeal and oral cavity cancers. By the end of the symposium, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the management of early and locally advanced laryngeal and oral cavity cancers.
  • Make judgments and treatment recommendations based on the availability of evidence.
  • Make judgements and treatment recommendations using multidisciplinary reasoning.
  • Successfully manage the treatment of tumors in light of alternative and sometimes competing treatment options, including radiation therapy, surgery and systemic chemotherapy.

Speakers:

The symposium will feature renowned experts involved in the multidisciplinary treatment of H&N cancer from high-volume centers in Jordan, USA and Canada.
