Goodwill Funds

The cost of cancer treatment is exorbitant, regardless of one’s financial situation. However, the situation is much more dire for some.  With an increasing number of cancer patients approaching KHCC for treatment, including refugees, approximately 80 underprivileged patients with no means of insurance or coverage end up on the Center’s waiting list every month.

As such, to address this growing need, KHCF established the Goodwill and Zakat Funds to allow others the opportunity to join our efforts and provide support for cancer patients at KHCC, according to specified criteria and conditions.

The funds covers:

  • Treatment costs for underpriviledged cancer patients.
  • Accommodation costs in hotel apartments close to the Center for patients who live in remote areas and must regularly visit the center for treatment, according to their doctor’s recommendation(s).
  • Transportation allowances to ensure that patients arrive to their appointments at KHCC without hassle or any financial or physical hardships.
  • Meal coupons for patients and their companions upon visiting the outpatient clinics.
