About the Symposium:
This Symposium will bring together experts, specialists and trainees specialized in cancer genetics and in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment from high-volume centers in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and the USA.They will discuss the current standards of diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in patients carrying germline pathogenic mutations, including approach to germline genetic testing and proper counseling and risk reducing strategies for patients and their relatives. The symposium will highlight the importance of counseling and germline genetic testing as well as strategies for making clinical decisions and recommendations to reduce risk based on available evidence, and specific clinical scenarios.
