Princess Ghida Talal Launches “Jordan X Cancer” Campaign

Amman, February 4th, 2022 – HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC) launched a national awareness campaign under the slogan “JordanXCancer” on the occasion of World Cancer Day, which occurs annually on February 4th. The campaign encourages the adoption of healthy, cancer-preventing habits.

Announcing the campaign, Princess Ghida stated: “We will continue to challenge and fight cancer every day, every hour, and every moment of our lives until we are able to defeat it.”

The campaign aims to raise community awareness on the importance of a healthy lifestyle by encouraging both individuals and entities from all sectors to share pledges to reduce cancer risks through lifestyle choices like conducting early detection tests, quitting smoking, eating healthy foods and exercising, as well as subscribing to KHCF’s Cancer Care Insurance (CCI).
