Princess Ghida Talal Honors Arab Bank for Sponsoring KHCF’s “Back to School” Program

Amman, December 26th, 2021 – HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), honored Mr. Nemeh Sabbagh, CEO of Arab Bank, in appreciation for the continued support Arab Bank has provided to KHCF’s “Back to School” program over the past five years.

Princess Ghida stated: “We thank Arab Bank for supporting our patients both psychologically and academically in line with our holistic treatment approach, and helping make our patient’s dreams come true.”

Mr. Nemeh Sabbagh expressed his appreciation for receiving the honor, stating: “This appreciation is the culmination of Arab Bank’s leadership and continuous efforts in sustainability and social responsibility, especially for national initiatives in the health sector and supporting cancer patients.” He added: “Arab Bank’s support for KHCF’s ‘Back to School’ Program for the fifth consecutive year embodies our belief in KHCF’s noble message, and our support for the efforts dedicated towards comprehensive cancer care, as well as making a positive impact on patient’s lives.”

KHCF’s “Back to School” program is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and plays a vital role in supporting patients at KHCC by enabling them to continue their education while receiving treatment. Over the course of the program, patient enrolment and success rates have increased steadily, demonstrating the program’s success.
