KHCF Signs MOU with Jordan Bromine Company

Amman, Oct. 31st, 2021 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Jordan Bromine Company, in presence of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), and Center (KHCC).

According to the MOU, Jordan Bromine Company will make a generous donation towards the Naming and Recognition Program by naming dental clinics at KHCC in the company name. The donation will be an ongoing Sadaqa (Charity) covering infrastructure and equipment costs at KHCC. Additionally, the donation will support Al Joud Goodwill Fund which covers cancer treatment for the underprivileged at KHCC.

Signing the MOU was Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, and Mr. Samer Asfour, General Manager of Jordan Bromine Company.

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish expressed her appreciation for Jordan Bromine Company’s generous support, and their belief in KHCF and KHCC’s message to fight cancer. She urged all industries and businesses to collaborate in fighting cancer, as it requires combined efforts from everyone to cover the treatment of as many cancer patients as possible.

Mr. Asfour emphasized the vital role the private sector has in collaborating with KHCC and supporting its vision, adding that this role stems from social responsibility and belief in KHCC’s efforts. He also stated that Jordan Bromine Company has been an avid contributor towards supporting KHCC’s vision throughout the past years and that the signing of the MOU emphasizes the company’s commitment towards supporting medical treatment for cancer patients.
