KHCF Renews Strategic Partnership with Housing Bank

Amman, May, 2023 – In the presence of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), and H.E. Abdel-Elah Al Khatib, Chairperson of the Housing Bank’s Board of Directors, KHCF renewed its strategic partnership agreement with the Housing Bank for two years.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Ammar Al-Safadi, CEO of the Housing Bank, and Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF.

Commenting on the renewed agreement, Mr. Al-Safadi reiterated that the Housing Bank is keen to remain a firm supporter of KHCF/KHCC and views their sustained partnership as a way to contribute towards the Bank’s social responsibility.

Mr. Al-Safadi stated: “Health and education sectors have always been a pillar of the Housing Bank’s social responsibility strategy, and supporting and enabling those sectors is one of the Bank’s top priorities. At this moment, cancer is one of the country’s most prominent challenges and requires the Bank’s support for patients, including supporting their health and education needs and focusing on youth and women.”

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish noted her appreciation for the Housing Bank’s support, emphasizing that the partnership has a vital role in supporting community efforts in the areas of voluntary work, early detection and awareness, and supporting cancer patients academically.
