KHCF Launches 2021 Journalist Award

Amman, September 22, 2021 – Under the patronage of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), KHCF launched its journalist award for the year 2021, dedicated to spreading awareness on tobacco control and early detection of breast cancer.

Journalistic pieces may be submitted for the award through www.ja.khcf.jo until December 1st at the latest.

The award consists of seven different categories covering all journalistic fields and aiming to spread awareness on the importance of tobacco control and early detection of breast cancer. It encourages journalists to create creative journalistic pieces that can make a positive impact on society.

All participating journalistic pieces will be evaluated by a committee of experts in the scientific and journalistic fields to ensure information accuracy and adherence to the award’s standards. The committee will choose one winner for each category of the award.

The 2021 Journalist Award is launched with the Housing Bank as a strategic partner and Jordan Petroleum Refinery (JoPetrol) as a gold sponsor.
