KHCF Honors the Housing Bank, Sponsor of Siwar Al Hussein Program for the year 2022
The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) held a ceremony to honor the volunteers and partners of the Siwar Al Hussein Program for the year 2022, in appreciation of their efforts to help patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) by supporting KHCF’s programs and campaigns.
The ceremony was held in Amman Rotana hotel. Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, honored the official sponsor of the Siwar Al Hussein program – the Housing Bank represented by its Executive Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communications Mrs. Ghadeer Barrishi.
Certificates of appreciation were distributed to 200 volunteers in appreciation of their efforts, which included participating in awareness campaigns and fundraisers, helping patients and their families at the Center, and providing logistical support for all activities organized by KHCC and KHCF.
The volunteers were thanked for their year-round generosity. Their time and efforts have a profound impact on the concept of community solidarity, which is necessary in the fight against cancer and makes a real difference in the lives of cancer patients.
The Housing Bank’s exclusive sponsorship of the Siwar Al Hussein program comes from the Bank’s belief in the necessity of establishing a culture of voluntary work, as it is one of the pillars of social cohesion, and an integral part of the Bank’s social responsibility strategy.
The Housing Bank has been a strategic partner of KHCF for many years. The Bank is constantly present as a sponsor, supporter and participant for various programs of the Foundation, in line with its strategic plan to build partnerships that contribute to the achievement of sustainable development.
The Siwar Al Hussein Program was established in 2007 to offer volunteers the chance to participate in Jordan’s culture of giving, and it promotes volunteering as an important way to bring about change. To date, the total number of volunteers has reached 10,000.
