KHCF Honors Private Schools for Supporting Its Programs

The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) honored a select group of private schools for their outstanding contributions and leadership in supporting various programs and activities of the Foundation, especially the "Save a Life" initiative, sponsored primarily by Bank al Etihad.

Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, expressed pride in the inspirational and leading role played by students in these humanitarian initiatives. She emphasized that KHCF’s partnership with private schools is central to its strategic direction, reinforcing the importance of collaboration with the education sector to institutionalize prevention and early detection programs, and promote a healthy lifestyle in Jordanian society. This partnership also aims to empower schools to nurture a generation of young leaders capable of driving positive change and fostering values of giving, volunteerism, and teamwork.

Representatives of the honored schools expressed their pride in participating in KHCF’s humanitarian initiatives, reaffirming their strong commitment to continuing support for cancer awareness programs. They also expressed their readiness to enhance this collaboration in the future, reflecting their shared vision of a stronger, more aware community.

It is noteworthy that all proceeds from student-led fundraising initiatives are fully allocated to supporting the treatment of underprivileged patients through KHCC’s goodwill funds, directly contributing to saving lives and reinforcing the message of community solidarity and generosity.
