KHCF Honors EDCO in Recognition of its Contribution to the KHCC Building in Aqaba

Amman, April 2024 - The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) honored the Electricity Distribution Company (EDCO) in appreciation of its support to the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) - King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein Building in Aqaba. As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, EDCO named a screening unit at the KHCC building in Aqaba.

The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, and Eng. Reem Hamdan, General Manager of EDCO. Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish stated, "We appreciate the contribution of the Electricity Distribution Company to this noble national project, which is of utmost importance in strategic expansion and raising the level of medical services provided to cancer patients in Jordan’s southern governorates."

Eng. Reem Hamdan emphasized, “EDCO takes pride in contributing to this noble project, which reflects our commitment to society and supports efforts to improve medical services in Jordan, especially for cancer patients in the southern region.” Hamdan also added that EDCO is always keen to support health projects that directly relate to individual lives and achieve a positive impact on society.
