KHCF Honors Al Ameed Coffee Company
Amman, June 5, 2022 – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) honored Al Ameed Coffee Company in recognition of its role in supporting the foundation for the 8th consecutive year. Al Ameed Coffee Company has generously donated to KHCF’s goodwill funds during the holy month of Ramadan, in support of underprivileged cancer patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) by launching a creative awareness campaign on social media that encouraged customers to donate for cancer patients.
Around that, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF, commented: “We thank Al Ameed Coffee Company for their ongoing support, which will contribute into relieving underprivileged cancer patients currently under treatment. We also call on our community; both individuals and companies alike, to support the patients who are still waiting for a chance to begin their treatment”.
Mr. Basel Daher, CEO of Al Ameed Coffee Company, stated: “Al Ameed Coffee is an indivisible part of the local community, and that is why we always work hard towards supporting our community. Our partnership with KHCF aims to spread awareness, in addition to give hope to every patient fighting cancer. The 8 years of our partnership are just the beginning, as we hope to improve on this partnership throughout the years”.
KHCF established the Goodwill Fund in 2003 to help underprivileged cancer patients in covering their medical treatment costs when they do not have the financial means to do so, nor is there an entity that may cover their treatment, without regard to nationality, age, or gender.
