HRH Princess Ghida Talal Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services - RAF

 

Amman, April 2017 – HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCF and KHCC), signed a memorandum of understanding with His Excellency Dr. Ayed bin Dabssan Al-Qahtani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and General Director of the Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF), under which RAF donates $282,000 (two hundred eighty-two thousand dollars) to KHCF’s Goodwill Fund to support underprivileged patients.

 

"I extend my appreciation to RAF and Dr. Ayed bin Dabssan Al-Qahtani for their support of KHCF and KHCC. This support will indeed help save the lives of underprivileged cancer patients who cannot afford to cover the costs of their treatment and have no one to turn to." said HRH Princess Ghida Talal.

 

Dr. Ayed Bin Dabsan Al Qahtani expressed his gratitude to HRH Princess Ghida for the warm welcoming and generous hospitality that RAF delegation received since its arrival to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stressing that the signing of this memorandum will open wide horizons of cooperation between RAF, KHCF and KHCC, which will benefit hundreds of patients who cannot afford the high costs of treatment.

 

Dr. Asem Mansour, Director General of KHCC and Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of KHCF attended the signing ceremony.
