Housing Bank Reveals Mural to Raise Awareness about the Importance of Healthy Environments to Fight Cancer
Housing Bank, in collaboration with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), has unveiled an artistic mural at its headquarters building.
This initiative highlights the importance of unified efforts to combat cancer and supports KHCF’s 2024 awareness campaigns that focus on the environment-health connection, including. These campaigns promote positive health and environmental behaviors to reduce cancer risk factors.
The mural aligns with Housing Bank’s social responsibility program, "Imkan by Iskan", which focuses on health and environmental initiatives to foster a healthy community. It represents an extension of the long-standing partnership between Housing Bank and KHCF, reflecting the bank's commitment to initiatives that promote teamwork and volunteerism for society’s benefit.
The mural was created through the collaborative efforts of volunteers from the bank’s "Imkan by Iskan" program and KHCF’s "Siwar Al Hussein Volunteering" program, alongside several cancer survivors. Artist Suhaib Attar guided the volunteers, lending his expertise in mural painting to ensure aesthetic excellence.
