Dr. Kais Al- Mousa

Kais Al-Mousa, Ph.D., currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). In this capacity, he oversees a significant part of the Center’s operations including Human Resources, Engineering and Maintenance, Biomedical Engineering, Supply Chain, Safety, and Security. Mr Al-Mousa served previously as Head of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory at KHCC between 2008 and 2010 and was a member of the team which achieved the Center’s first accreditation by the College of American Pathologists in Jordan.

In addition to his work at KHCC, Dr. Al-Mousa has worked in different healthcare systems and settings including governmental, private, and nonprofit organizations across different geographical regions including Jordan, Arabian Gulf and the Asia Pacific (Australia). This exposure reflects positively on his character and style of work. Dr. Al-Mousa has a great interest in healthcare quality and accreditation systems with greater interest in Clinical Laboratory Accreditation Systems and has served as a technical consultant to the accreditation Unit of the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization. 

Dr. Al-Mousa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science from the University of Jordan, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Sydney, and completed an executive program in Healthcare Management with the Harvard Business School.
