A.   Emergency

The Adult Emergency Department provides treatment services for patients registered at KHCC, including cardiac resuscitation and artificial respiration. The adult emergency department contains 22 beds, in addition to a cardiopulmonary resuscitation room, an isolation room, and a triage room.

The adult emergency department employs 11 emergency and internal consultants, 40 legal nurses and 4 supervisors who are qualified to handle all emergency cases.

  

B.   Adult Emergency Clinics

The Adult Emergency Clinics operate just like the Adult Emergency Department, except for cases of patients with leukemia, bone marrow transplantation, and lymphoma, who are received exclusively at these clinics.

The clinics contain 17 beds in addition to a cardiopulmonary resuscitation room, and a triage room. They are staffed by 9 emergency and internal specialist physicians, and 30 male and female nurses, led by four supervisors. This department is supported by both the laboratory and radiology departments as well.
