FFD Mammography Machine

Diagnostic Radiology Department

Machine Description:

The Mammography Machine is an imaging modality that uses a low dose of radiation to capture breast images, enabling the early detection of breast cancer and the evaluation of breast diseases. This life-saving machine will be deployed in the Jordan Breast Cancer Program’s (JBCP) mobile unit, serving approximately 3,000 women each year in rural and low-income areas across seven governorates in Jordan: Mafraq, Zarqa, Balqa, Karak, Amman, Madaba, and Irbid.

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in Jordan and the third leading cause of death. Early detection is critical for successful treatment, yet many women, especially those outside Amman, lack access to screening services. This Mammography Machine will provide:

·  Crucial early detection services to 3,000 women in underserved communities.

·  Increased survival rates through timely screenings and intervention.

·  Reduced wait times for critical screenings.

·  Comprehensive women's health services for those who need it most.

Your donation can help save lives and restore hope to thousands of women across Jordan.
